AI agents and operations strategy for growing businesses

Draw up the play before you hire the next ten people.

Visionary Gameplan helps small and mid-sized businesses find the work AI agents should be doing, build those agents into the tools you already use, and coach your team to run with them. It starts with a free conversation and a clear look at how your business really runs.

30 minutes, no cost, no pitch deck. You leave with at least one thing you can automate.

how we work

Practical plays grounded in hands-on operating experience across customer experience, supply chain, security and admin. No hype, no theory, just the next right move.

Who this is for

Growing pains are an operations problem first.

"We need to hire to keep up."

You're about to ramp headcount

Volume is up, the inbox is full and the job posts are drafted. Before you add salaries, find out which of those roles are really repetitive workflows an agent could run.

"We know AI matters. Now what?"

You don't know where to start

Every vendor says their tool changes everything. You need someone who has deployed agents in a real business to tell you what's worth doing first and what to skip.

"My best people are doing busywork."

Talent is stuck on repetitive tasks

Order lookups, data entry, report building, ticket triage. Your strongest people spend hours on work that follows the same steps every time.

Path A · Scaling up

Hire agents before headcount

For teams about to grow. We map the work behind each planned hire and build the agents that absorb it, so new people join to do the work only people can do.

  • Headcount plan reviewed workflow by workflow
  • Agents built, tested and running in your tools
  • Clear before-and-after on hours and response times
Path B · Getting started

Start with an Operational Intelligence assessment

For owners who know AI matters but haven't started. I study how your business runs, then hand you a ranked list of where AI pays off first.

  • Plain-English review of your operations and systems
  • AI opportunities scored by impact and effort
  • A 90-day gameplan you can run with or without me
Visibility first

You can't gameplan what you can't see.

Most growing businesses already have the data. It's just scattered across Shopify, spreadsheets, the help desk and someone's head. Our first job is to make it visible: one clear picture of what's really happening, simple enough that anyone on the team can read it in a minute.

  • Sales, service and operations numbers in one place
  • Trends, bottlenecks and costs you couldn't see before
  • Built in the tools you already use, or a simple dashboard we set up

This is often the moment everything clicks. Once the picture is clear, the priorities become obvious.

Services

See it. Build it. Coach the team to run it.

Most AI projects stall because nobody owns the follow-through. I stay through all three phases, or step in wherever you need me.

01 · See

Visibility & Opportunity Assessment

We pull your scattered data into one clear picture of where time, money and customers are going, then pinpoint the workflows ready for automation.

You get

  • Clear dashboards of the numbers that matter
  • Workflow map and scored automation opportunities
  • Prioritized 90-day gameplan

I design and deploy AI agents that do real work inside the tools you already use, with guardrails and a person in the loop where judgment matters.

You get

  • Working agents for CX, ops, admin or supply chain
  • Escalation rules and human review points
  • Documentation your team can maintain

Best for: growing teams about to add headcount.

  • KPI scorecard and weekly operating cadence
  • Team training and change management
  • Ongoing advisory as you scale

Best for: leaders who want results that hold up after launch.

A point of view

Operational Intelligence: how smart is your business, not just your software?

AI tools are easy to buy. What separates companies that get value from them is how well the business itself remembers, moves, decides and adapts. I look at five dimensions to find where AI will stick and where the foundation needs work first.

Operational Intelligence is a framework I'm developing from my own operating experience. It's a practical lens for prioritizing, not a certified benchmark.

About Tyler

An operator who coaches. A coach who builds.

I've spent my career in operations, mostly inside consumer brands that sell everywhere at once: online, through marketplaces and on big-box shelves. Supply chain, customer experience and IT all end up on my desk, so I tend to see a business as one connected system instead of a set of departments.

Lately much of that work has been putting AI agents to work inside the system, one department at a time. The lessons came from the misses as much as the wins: which workflows are ready, where people need to stay in the loop, and how to bring a team along without losing their trust.

I also own and operate a land investment business, and I mentor professionals and executives on leadership and career growth. Visionary Gameplan pulls those together. I meet with you, dig into how the business really runs, and give you the few moves that matter most.

"The goal isn't fewer people. It's people doing the work only people can do."

FAQ

Straight answers.

Have a question that isn't here? Ask it on the free call.

Is the consultation really free?

Yes. It's 30 minutes with me, not a sales rep. I'll give you at least one concrete idea you can use whether we work together or not.

Will AI agents replace my team?

That isn't the goal. Agents take on repetitive, rules-based work so your people can focus on customers, judgment calls and growth. For growing businesses, it usually means hiring fewer people for busywork and putting new hires on higher-value roles.

Do I need technical staff or new software?

No. I work with the tools you already use wherever possible and handle the technical build. Your team needs to know the work, and I'll take care of the rest.

How big does my business need to be?

If your team spends hours a week on repeatable tasks like answering the same questions, moving data between systems or chasing updates, there's likely a fit. I work best with growing businesses of roughly 5 to 200 people.

How do you keep agents from making mistakes?

Every agent ships with clear rules for when to hand off to a person, plus monitoring so you can see what it's doing. We start with low-risk workflows and expand as the results prove out.

What does a fractional COO engagement look like?

A set number of hours each month for operating leadership: weekly check-ins, help with hiring and team structure, process fixes and planning for the next stage of growth. It's built for businesses that need senior operations experience but aren't ready for a full-time hire.

Do you work with businesses outside Georgia?

Yes. I'm based in Kennesaw, GA and work remotely with businesses anywhere in the U.S.

From a recent free consultation

A growing business came in unsure where it stood. We took their data and made it visible and easy to digest for the first time. The owner called it a game changer and said they left with real clarity on their business's position and what to do next.
